Verizon signal booster for rv8/17/2023 ![]() ![]() The good thing about a device like WeBoost is it will work for multiple carriers, and I think their newer models support 5G. Even for our business cell provider we are looking to leave Verizon in 2024 if they don't get their *** together.Īs for other boosters I would look at WeBoost. I been with Verizon since 2006 and left them in 2021. Now as far as Verizon's service to me it went all down hill when they rolled out 5G. If I was walking out of range of my LTE booster while on a call 80% of the time the call would drop and not hand off to the cell tower. The other thing about the LTE booster is it was horrible and handing off calls to the cell network. Then I also don't know your firewall setup, you might need to open some outbound ports so the booster can connect properly. I don't know if Verizon has a different booster for a business or not, but Verizon's booster might only be able to handle a limited number of devices. ![]() I had the LTE booster at home, and that only supported 16 connections at one time. If the booster is not setup properly on an account it will not even connect to Verizon. Turns out the booster never got provisioned correctly on my account. I'm just coming off of a 2.5 hour fight with Verizon and must find another option - FAST.įor Verizon's LTE booster I had one of them. I'm willing to erect a tower.Ĭan anyone tell me the absolute best options for a Verizon capable cell phone booster system in 2023 that one can buy and install themselves? I'd like to, preferably, get one from Amazon that I can return if it doesn't work out.ĭesperate for some solid input here. ![]() Cell phone service is NON EXISTENT as far as I can tell in this valley, but I might be able to miraculously pull a single bar out of my butt once in a blue moon. I need to try another option and the only option I can figure is to try some kind of a booster. I have some very angry people here - at me - because they think Verizon is just "too big" to fail and be the source of the connectivity problem. After about 10 calls to absolutely worthless support agents at Verizon and not being able to reach a single person that understands anything about their SeGW (Security Gateway VPN), I think I must give up. Hi folks - I'm currently going through Verizon LTE Extender hell like many, many, many have experienced before. ![]()
